How long will it take you to fire my pottery? When can I pick it up?
We can have your pieces ready as soon as the next day at 12:00 pm. During the Tourist Season, May through September, we always fire for next day pick-up. If it is a slow day and the kiln is not full we may ask you if you must have your pieces right away. If you are ok with waiting we may wait to fire the kiln until the following day.

We generally hold things for months. However, every year we will purge any items left behind. When we do this we try to contact the customer first.

Do I have to be artistic to paint pottery?
NO! Anyone can do it. We give you a 10 to 15 minute instructive rundown of the glazing process and some designing materials. We also have examples available for you to see.

Do I have to have an appointment?
We encourage walk-ins. If you have a large group (6 or more) you might want to give us a days notice. Large Parties of 10 or more should schedule an appointment so we can hold the space. You might want to call in advance on certain Holiday weekends as they may be busier than other times.

Can I commission someone to paint a piece for me?
Yes. There are artists available to create a custom item and work with you to pick out the best way to complete it.

Is my finished piece food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe?
Yes. We only use non-toxic lead free products for glazing. You may run your piece through a dishwasher, however, we recommend hand washing to extend the life of your creation. You may use your finished piece in the microwave, however, we do not recommend it as the piece may become extra hot!
